La Galerie HEGOA est une galerie de Photographie et d’Art Contemporain qui défend des artistes vivants, reconnus ou prometteurs.

Leur point commun : la poésie, la sensualité, l’audace.  Qu’ils s’expriment à travers la nature, l’architecture, la culture ou le corps, les artistes portent un regard émerveillé sur le monde et défendent la liberté, la beauté ou la fragilité de la planète. La galerie HEGOA suit aussi le travail personnel d’auteur de plusieurs photo-reporters renommés.

Les expositions sont monographiques ou collectives et thématiques et durent de 4 à 6 semaines. La galerie participe aux foires de photographie et d’art contemporain et organise des événements hors les murs.

Au delà des expositions, la galerie suit en permanence ses artistes et leur création et peut répondre à tout moment aux demandes des collectionneurs et des amateurs. Les artistes réservent en priorité à la galerie les premiers tirages de leurs nouvelles séries et certains sont représentés en toute exclusivité à Paris.Ils dédicacent volontiers les photographies sur demande.

Les photographies entrent dans la catégorie œuvres d’art. Elles sont numérotées, signées et limitées à 30 exemplaires maximum et délivrées avec un certificat d’authenticité.

Elles sont tirées dans des laboratoires spécialisés dans le tirage d’art, sous le contrôle des artistes ou réalisées par eux-mêmes.

Les œuvres des plasticiens sont uniques ou en édition limitée.

Bodhisattvas are enlightened beings who have put off entering paradise in order to help others attain enlightenment. There are many different Bodhisattvas, but the most famous in China is Avalokitesvara, known in Chinese as Guanyin. Early depictions of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara displayed male characteristics, but this tradition subsequently became less rigid. By the end of the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1367/8), most Guanyin sculptures depicted the beings as young women, often bearing a vase of holy water to cleanse the souls of those they were bound to protect. According to legend, Guanyin was born on the nineteenth of the second lunar month, achieved enlightenment on the nineteenth of the sixth lunar month and achieved nirvana on the nineteenth of the ninth lunar month. It is said that s/he is the top Bodhisattva beside Shakyamuni Buddha, and an assistant Bodhisattva beside Amitabha Buddha in the Western World of Ultimate Bliss. It is believed that any sentient being who recites his/her name during a disaster would be heard and saved, which can explain why his/her importance to Chinese Buddhism. "Guanyin" literally means "observing the sounds", which refers to the belief that the Guanyin would observe all the sounds in the world, particularly listening for requests from worshippers.

The current example is female, and stands 39" tall on an incorporated base. The pose is somewhat langurous, with the weight shifted onto the right leg while the left is slightly bent. The left hand hangs by the side, holding some implement or piece of drapery. The right hand is raised, and appears to be an object of contemplation by Guanyin. The head is carved in a mood of reflective serenity, and is inclined slightly to the right. The sculpture is topped with a tall, ornate crown of generally floral aspect, with plume-like eminences arranged in vertically-oriented bunches. The underlying hair has been gathered up underneath the crown, leaving a halo of hair around its perimeter. A loose tunic-like garment (dhoti) envelops the lower half of the body, and further drapery (scarves) is casually wrapped over the shoulders. The complexity of the drapery and the care with which it has been carved is stunning - the individual folds and creases are all cleanly and deftly rendered, and contrast with the smooth texture of the skin. The figure additionally wears two bracelets on the left wrist, as well as a necklace and pendant arrangement in the chest area. This is a superb and important sculpture that would grace any collection of Eastern art.

PETER LINDBERGH : UNE EXPOSITION MONUMENTALE SUR LA PLAGE DE DEAUVILLE

C’est en 1980 que Peter Lindbergh réalise son premier reportage de mode à Deauville pour Vogue Italie. Il n’a cessé depuis de revenir chaque année, séduit par l’espace de la plage et ses lumières changeantes.

Vingt-deux photographies présentées dans une installation monumentale témoigneront lors du Festival Planche(s) Contact de cette rencontre forte entre un
lieu et un artiste. Première exposition de plein-air de Peter Lindbergh, l’installation Le Deauville de Peter Lindbergh sera implantée sur les lieux mêmes où ces
photographies ont été réalisées.

Peter Lindbergh est l’un des photographes contemporains les plus marquants de notre époque. Visionnaire, il bouscule les codes de la photographie de mode post-moderne en intronisant dans ses compositions une nouvelle image de la femme, moderne et affranchie des codes de beauté anciens, où peu d’importance est portée au vêtement. Peter Lindbergh réalise des images intemporelles, entre approche humaniste et idéalisation de la femme. Convaincu que l’intérêt d’un sujet réside ailleurs que dans son âge, il bouscule les normes de la photographie de mode à une époque où l’on a l’habitude d’exagérément retoucher les images. Il explique que « la responsabilité des photographes, aujourd’hui, doit être de libérer les femmes et, en somme, tout le monde, de la hantise de la jeunesse et de la perfection ».

Depuis la fin des années 1970, Lindbergh travaille pour de prestigieuses marques et magazines, notamment les éditions américaines, italiennes et allemandes du Vogue, l’édition américaine du Harper’s Bazaar ainsi que les magazines, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Wall Street Journal Magazine, Visionaire, Interview et W.

I come from an international background and business experience combined with an artistic temperament.

I was born in snowy Siberia, Russia but relocated to Cairo, Egypt at age of nine where I was raised.  My mother, who is my Idol, is the owner of one of the most prestigious ballet academies in Russia, I was trained to dance, act and music from a young age and given an international education (Thanks to my Mother), eventually graduating from the Russian Diplomatic School.

After graduation, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business

Administration and Management from Novosibirsk State University.

I began my professional career with Sherry Haute Couture an Egyptian- American fashion firm based in Guangzhou, China.  While with Sherry I was intimately involved with the organization and management of numerous fashion shows and events such as Hong Kong Fashion week, Canton Fair, Cairo Fashion Week, CPM Moscow and much more. Then I moved back to Cairo as a marketing executive for the ITC group, one of Egypt’s biggest hospitality corporations.

DESTARAC Le langages des couleurs 2007 - 2017

« Chez Michèle Destarac, l’histoire est un palimpseste sur lequel on gratte et l’on grave sa propre mémoire. La sienne se fixe, dans un premier temps, avec le geste, puis ensuite avec l’offrande faite à la couleur, toujours généreuse, et joyeusement excessive, pourvoyeuse d’un rayonnement sans fin. Rien que pour cette abondance, elle serait proche de cette petite phrase que lançait avec une vague pointe de jalousie Picasso à propos des nombreuses oeuvres de Matisse – Ma parole, il a un soleil dans le ventre ! – Sauf que son soleil à elle est zébré, chahuté et bousculé par les courants et les vents contraires.
Ses toiles sont constituées d’explosions permanentes, de tensions et d’intensités maîtrisées mais aussi de forces célestes où le soleil l’emporte sur la pénombre. Le spectacle d’oppositions violentes entre diverses tonalités n’est pas sans rappeler avec une bonne distanciation une certaine dynamique du chaos enfantant une étoile. »

AnuschB, née le 5 Oct 1971, est une artiste belge qui vit entre  Bruxelles et Murano. Elle a  retrouvé à Venise la lagune de son enfance Africaine : comme une évidence, le cercle de la vie...
Elle nous explique ' La perle m'a amenée au travail du verre dans ses différentes techniques à chaud et à froid. Le verre, medium aux possibilités d'expressions infinies, il offre la transparence et l'opacité, la plasticité et la dureté, la douceur et la rugosité ... Je travaille principalement la pièce unique que ce soit dans le bijou, les sculptures, peintures ou objets usuels. Mon travail s'articule souvent autour de la répétition de formes simples. Il trouve son énergie et son unicité dans mon histoire personnelle'.

AnuschB, born in 1971, is a Belgian artist who lives between Brussels and Murano. She found in Venice the lagoon of her childhood in Africa: the circle of Life …
She explains:
‘My passion for beads led me, over 10 years ago, into working with glass and exploring its many different techniques: hot and cold. Glass is a versatile medium that holds infinite possibilities. It offers transparency and opacity, plasticity and hardness, softness and roughness… It allows beauty and emotions to pass through it … it calls for touching and feeling …
My work mainly focuses on the creation of unique objects, whether it’s a piece of jewellery, a sculpture, a painting or a functional piece.
I find myself drawn to repetition of simple elements in my work. The uniqueness in it, the energy and emotions I wish to transmit derive from my personal experiences’.
